Greetings from the Edge!

Welcome to Letters from the Journey! I realize that the title of this post is fairly loaded and has the potential to be negative, but I happen to believe that the edge isn't such a bad place to be. Endings and beginnings are often one in the same and I see this blog as the opportunity to start something fairly wonderful!

Overall, I tend to be an idealist, but am pragmatic enough to realize that the road to who we are meant to be is not just hard sometimes, it can be downright discouraging and deflating. The "right" thing is often not one-size-fits-all and very often we don't make sense of what is happening in our world until we have moved through it and can review the events in retrospect. Part of why I felt compelled to start blogging is to share some of what I have observed and learned in the hopes that by sharing, I can make someone's road clearer or easier or at least provide some company on the way. I am most certainly not an expert, guru or spiritual guide--mostly I am a fellow traveler who is willing to leave a few breadcrumbs behind . . .
